This webinar aims to enable managers recognise what resilience is and how to manage theirs, and their employees, levels of resilience, which can drop during times of pressure and change. This in turn will potentially help them to build this into their day to day management of their staff in recognising their levels of wellbeing. We are all different and we don’t experience stress in the same way. Situations that distress some people will motivate others and different personality styles have varying tolerances for our current challenges. Understanding the triggers and finding strategies to handle them will enable us to navigate and survive the storms with professionalism, empathy and practicality.
This session will explain why resilience and wellbeing should be a part of staff annual reviews, goal setting and staff performance process and how managers can build this into their discussions as well as:
- Understand what resilience is
- Investigate what happens when things go wrong
- Explore techniques to help build resilience through pressure and change
- Learn simple mind management strategies to regulate internal and external behaviours
